Scotty Brand identity is a bit of a cipher. The unit is branded with the Cabela's logo, but Cabela's does not make anything. There was a point where I was pretty sure who was making it for them, but I've forgotten who I thought it was.
It kind of looks like a commercial Cookshack smoker I once saw listed on Craigslist. Barely used. I think they were asking 2 grand. Would have been a fun toy, but a little tough to explain....

Odds favor the country of origin being (mainland) China.
The label on Bob's smoker plainly says "Made in U.S.A."
