This is almost too stupid to print

So far the H1N1 influenza virus has not been found in pigs. But that is not stopping the Egyptian government from slaughtering all of the pigs in Egypt. Their bodies will be burned or buried and the largely poor and Christian population that depends on them for food will have to find something else to eat. Of course, that won't be too difficult because a large number of the poor who raise pigs are garbage collectors.

In the immortal words of Monty Python - she's a witch, burn her.

Although, for the life of me, I can't remember if it was because she didn't float or if she did.

If she floats the water (which is pure) rejects her, so she burns. if she sinks the water accepts her so she lives -if she does not drwon.

Swine flu? You mean the flu that has killed uh... one poor kid from Mexico in Texas??
Regular flu killed 36,000 people in the US last year. All infidles I reckon.

What if there is an outbreak of chicken pox? Or cow pox?

The truly stupid aspect to all of this is that so far only one pig in Canada has turned up infected at it is believed that it contracted the virus from a farm worker.

In other words it appears that even though the virus contains swine genes the most likely hosts now are humans not pigs.

How long do you think it'll be before they start calling H1N1 the Heinie flu?

Nasty stuff,I am sure who ever killed all those pigs thought the virus as a blessing in disguise, great excuse to get rid of them. Mostly political.

Nothing is surprising at all, we should see much more of this type of thing with genetically similar animals raised so close together. One mutation and it spreads like wild fire.
Poor pigs, not only are they being killed, humans are also infecting them.
