WASHINGTON — The world’s economic ministers declared on Sunday that shortages and skyrocketing prices for food posed a potentially greater threat to economic and political stability than the turmoil in capital markets.

We are so on the same page. I heard today on the BBC that America gives 50 to 60 percent of the world's donated food, and now that we are using it for fuel we can not give like we did. Thanks for bringing this to attention. It is nice to see that some people care and have common sense(a rare combo).
