I didn't know my mother in law spoke anything other than polish and english
That was pretty darned entertaining! I don't even know where to start. Things I learned from this video:1) It is possible to cook in an evening gown.2) White boots on Asian women don't look stripperish at all when paired with a 3/4 length coat (nice trick!) 3) I apparently need a mentor and that using female subversion techniques is okey-dokey cool! 4) That I should strongly consider taking the job in the Chinese restaurant that was recently offered to me, if for no other reason than to learn how to smack people in the face with noodles. 5) Eggs are apparently cooked with love and not heat. I'll just not go there on a Sunday.....Much love,Tin-Chef, Jennie/Tikka
But how does it end??? I must know!
This movie looks like either a bad sequel or a bad rip-off of "The God of Cookery", a great comedy by Stephen Chow (Kung Fu Hustle, Shaolin Soccer, dozens of other movies).Another good food movie is Ang Lee's "Eat Drink Man Woman" which I think is a good window into the soul of a Chinese chef (not that I would really know).I hear another good one is "Tampopo", but it does not appear to be in print on DVD and I can't find it anywhere. Someone told me Netflix has it, but I don't have Netflix. Grrr...
If you click on "other videos uploaded by" the person who uploaded that, you can see Episode 4, which I did go and watch and I enjoyed. I will not spoil it for you, however. The video gaming references amused me greatly.
